After creating a unique concept for their festive campaign in 2016, the Grand Hyatt hotel awarded us with this new project. Our team designed the festive Christmas and NYE collaterals, such as menus, flyers, packaging, envelopes, window decals and tickets.
Two completely different and unique concepts were developed for both New Years Eve and Christmas. The NYE design concept was based on a futuristic colour palette with “techie” and “spacey” fonts, that were supported by minimal geometrical shapes and elements that could be turned into beautiful patterns as well. To top it off we used beautiful multicolour hot stamping in combination with fancy paper material, which in this case was Rives Sensation Gloss Tradition Bright White.
The Christmas concept turned out to be more traditional and festive because we wanted to keep the Christmas spirit alive by creating something that people were familiar with, yet give it a modern and elegant twist. We created a colour palette that was close to Grand Hyatt’s brand colours and that expressed positive and warm vibes. These were combined with decorative handwritten fonts that contrasted well with the techie NYE fonts. To modernize the overall look and feel we used minimalistic geometric shapes to support the content, e.g. triangle representing a Christmas tree.
